Jivan 接觸了葛吉夫的工作超過25年，並在世界各地旅行，包括英國、德國、西班牙、烏克蘭、保加利亞、以色列、加拿大、台灣及哥斯大黎加等地，帶領密集覺知靜心團體 Who is in ? 以及十天的葛吉夫神聖舞蹈工作坊。自1996年起，他每年均會來訪，和台灣的朋友分享他的工作與靜心。
Originally studied Drama & Theater Arts at university in the UK, afterwards working as a director in alternative and community theater in England.In the 1980s he trained in Humanistic Psychology at the Humaniversity Institute in Holland, and in Counselling Skills and Primal Therapy at the Multiversity, Osho Commune International, India.
He has been involved in the Gurdjieff work for nearly 25 years, and has studied the Movements with Solange Claustres in Holland, and with Avrom Altman, Deborah Rose Longo and Margit Martinu in the USA, Germany and Italy.
Jivan worked for 15 years at Osho International Meditation Resort in Pune, India. There he led the 6-week Gurdjieff Movements Intensive and a 10-day Residential Silent Retreat in the Movements, as well as leading the Zen Retreats, 'Who Is In' and 'Satori', and assisting in Primal Therapy.Currently Jivan resides in Israel and frequently travels to other countries leading Gurdjieff Movements Workshops and Satori and Who Is In Retreats; He regularly works in Israel, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, China and Taiwan and has also led workshops in Austria, England, USA, Costa Rica, Turkey, India, Hong Kong and Spain. He has also worked several times with Acco Theater Center in Israel, and with U Theater Company in Taiwan, where in September 2006 the Company premiered their Gurdjieff Movements production at the National Theater of Taiwan in Taipei.
